okay. post warning
this is gonna be a really long post
so the day started off with klarry and i being one hour early
walking to and fro from downtown east.
when we got on the train, we saw rachael getting on too but she vanished halfway.
arin got on later but we all had to get off at bedok to meet oli and get on another train to meet nicole, teresa and rachael(who somehow got on the other train)
i'll skip right to the part at fort canning
when we got to the entrance, there were so many people there
MANY MANY PEOPLE!!
and mr sun was scorching
think he's really happy too. haha
right past us, dozens of people were getting all access passes.
screw them. so when the gate opening time was delayed until past 1 and
we finally got banded and were allowed in at 3,
arin and klarry ran in and secured a spot(2nd row, left side)
the others came and people started to sit down.
haha can you just imagine!!
a concert having many sitted down people. HAHA
so klarry just left the place after realising that the first 2 bands were like local bands.
so she went behind to sit with brig and rachael
where there was so mush more space to actually sit.
so when the great spy experiment was playing,
they were just sitting there drinking green tea and talking.
tell you their drinks are ex. is like 3 for a bottle? haha
when one buck short was playing,
brig and klarry started wandering around and they found
(actually they didn't find it at all. it was right there.)
this fence that fenced the path area which the bands used to get to the stage.
(oooooooohhhhhhhhh. soooooooooo awesome. we kept using it ever since.)
we saw crowned king and started taking pictures.
then we ran back and moshed to the near front and took some more pictures.
shaun took of his shirt!!yeah :D
so after crowned king was cobra starship. they are more-than awesome!!!!!!
it was just soooo awesome. william came onstage and sang snakes on a plane with them.
between performances, these 2 djs, from uk,
who call themselves the eye candy twins,
would come on and play their mixes. haha
so we would leave, naturally, and go to the fence
where we saw some more people from the various bands.
when they annouced that the academy is... was gonna start playing,
we ran back and moshed to the front again. amazing, huh?
the academy is was so DAMN AWSOME!!!
they were as good as cobra starship.
gabe ran on stage and sang along some songs.
for their last song, some people next to me were chanting
"checkmark! checkmarks!"
and klarry started yelling too.
and this guy in front of me turned around and looked at us and yelled
"what they said!". brig and klarry just started laughing.
after TheAcademyIs,
was GYMCLASSHEROES
they took a long time to get on stage but they played a great show as well.
travis looked so cute. he threw his hat but it landed somewhere near the back.
after them, brig, rachael, klarry and i left the mosh pit to sit down.
however, we noticed this gathering of people near the gates to the artists tents.
william was there, taking pictures and signing autographs
we got soo damn excited!!!!
i mean, who wouldn't be?
so we approached him for phots and autographs!!
when we moshed yet again to the front of the queue,
william touched klarry's shoulder and went"how are you?" and she was sooo
(can't think of a single word to describe the feeling).
so she just smiled and said weakly "i'm fine...".
then we asked the guard whether he could take a picture of us with william
but unfortunately only my face showed up next to his.
brig got an autograph and rachael and i only got pictures of him.
but still...!!!!!!!!!!! we wanted to see some more bands so we waited there.
and guess who walked out of the artists' tents?
avenged sevenfold. IT'S AVENGED SEVENFOLD!!!
this man started going crazy and yelling
to his girlfriend" where's the camera? where is the camera?"
it was avenged sevenfold after GCH and people started going crazy
the wild dancing and mass moshing had begun and
guards had to be called because people were throwing bottles full of water
and ice cubes
and other god-knows-what items up into the air.
brig, klarry and i went to sit in one corner before
getting into the middle of the moshing to take pictures.
the guitar solos were awesome, though.after avenged sevenfold left the stage,
it was like a wave of people moving back to the grass to sit down and
28% of like 5000 who came went home HAHA
you could even notice all that movement even if you were half blind.
after A7x played was
the noisettes and boy did they sound annoying.
squeaking through.
people around me were grimacing in pain
and trying as hard as they could to cover their ears
poor people
followed by MxPx
saw shan wee too
brig received a call from her dad who made her come home.so arin
and klarry sent her to the gate and came back.
when we came back, arin asked klarry to go with her to change her shirt size
for some reason, klarry wanted to go to the gate
and shaun frank from crowned king was there.
we did the natural. ask for pictures and autographs.
it's so surprising that people actually attend this concerts without pens.
including me. haha
arin borrowed klarry's,
a girl borrowed klarry's,
shaun didn't have pens so he borrowed klarry's too.
he signed my shirt and phone!!
damn happy :D
then when he was done, he held it up and went"who's pen is this?"
and he twirled it and klarry was like"that's mine".
then he winked at her and held it out. ooooooohhhhhhhhhh!!
i bet she's fucking happy
MxPx finishing their performance and
the last band,hinder, was coming up
but we had to leave already so arin's mom gave oli, klarry and i a ride home
it was seriously the most worth it 77 dollars EVER
and it was sooooooo fun!!!
